How Torres del Paine tours differ
A Torres del Paine tour can mean three different things. The first is a long road day from Puerto Natales that stops at viewpoints and lakes. The second is a hike, such as the day walk to Base Las Torres. The third is an activity on the water, such as a boat or kayak trip on Lago Grey. They rarely fit into the same day, so decide which one you want before you compare prices.
The park ticket is a separate purchase from most tours, and it is bought online at least 24 hours before entry. The examples below are 2026 prices and they change, so treat them as a guide and confirm the price for your date.

Torres del Paine day tour from Puerto Natales
The classic way to see the park in one day.
The full-day tour leaves Puerto Natales at 08:30 and returns at 19:00, which is about 10.5 hours. It starts along the waterfront in Puerto Natales and stops at the Cueva del Milodón, Lago Grey, Lago Pehoé, Salto Grande, Lago Nordenskjöld and the Laguna Amarga. The park entrance and the Milodón entrance are each paid on top of the tour price.
This route does not include the full walk to Base Las Torres, and it has no boat on Lago Grey or walk to the Mirador Británico. If a walk is the reason you come, book it as its own day. The hike alone takes about 8 hours of walking, so a road day and a hike day are not interchangeable.

What to expect from each tour
Length, limits and what is not included.
Road tour from Puerto Natales
Expect a long day with short stops. The tour mixes viewpoints, a lake, a waterfall and the cave near Natales. Accessibility at every stop is not guaranteed, so ask the operator if anyone in your group has limited mobility.
Puerto Natales →Base Las Torres on foot
The walk is about 22 km with a climb of roughly 750 to 1,500 m of ascent. It ends at the lake under the three towers. The trail cut-off times matter more than your pace.
Base Las Torres hike →Grey Glacier by boat
The round trip lasts about 2 hours 45 minutes, and check-in is 1 hour before departure. The walk to the boat via Playa Grey takes 30 to 45 minutes and is not suited to wheelchairs or strollers. Not every one-way crossing passes the glacier, so check your departure.
Grey Glacier →Kayaking on Lago Grey
The group is 2 to 16 people and the minimum age is 14. Equipment, a safety briefing, a snack and a hot drink are included. Transport, accommodation and the park ticket are not included. Free recreational boating is not generally allowed in the park.
Catamaran on Lago Pehoé
The boat links Pudeto and Paine Grande in about 30 minutes. Children up to 10 travel free with a paying adult, and check-in closes 15 minutes before. Weather can cancel a crossing, so allow slack if you connect to a trek.
Lago Pehoé →Day tour from El Calafate
The tour crosses the border in both directions and visits the viewpoints, Lago Pehoé, Salto Grande and the Mirador Cuernos. It does not include the full Base Las Torres hike. Entry fees and meals are extra, and you need valid travel documents.
From El Calafate →What to check before you book
The same name can cover different products.
Entrance and extras
Ask whether the park ticket, the cave entrance and meals are in the price. On the full-day tour, the park and Milodón entrance are extra. A day pass costs CLP 32,400 to 34,000 for an adult foreign visitor.
Entrance fee →Date and weather
Wind and rain can change the route, and boats can be cancelled. Keep the Grey boat and the Base Las Torres hike on different days so a weather change does not cost you both.
Weather →Cancellation terms
Terms vary by operator. A catamaran change costs CLP 5,000 up to 72 hours before. Read the terms before you pay.
Mountain nights
A day tour needs no bed. A trek does, and the nights must be reserved before you enter the mountain area.
