Torres del Paine entrance fee in 2026

You need a park ticket for every visit to Torres del Paine, including a day trip by tour bus. Since 1 May 2026 there are two types: a day pass for 1 day and a multi-day pass for 2 or more days, up to 10 consecutive days. The ticket is bought online at least 24 hours before you enter, so do not leave it for the bus ride from town.

Prices vary a little, so the table below gives a range and you should check the final amount at checkout. A ticket for the park is one booking. Mountain nights on the W and O, shuttles and boats are separate bookings. If you want a guide to organise it all, compare the Torres del Paine tours below.

The portal sorts visitors into children 0 to 12, youth 13 to 17, adults 18 to 59 and seniors 60 to 99, plus a category for people with disabilities. For foreign seniors and foreign people with disabilities, read the price at checkout and do not assume the Chilean exemptions apply. For most visitors on a single tour, the day pass is the right one. For most W trekkers, who spend 3 to 5 days in the park, the multi-day pass is the one to buy.

How to buy the ticket and where it is checked

Buy the ticket on the national parks online portal (Pases Parques) at least 24 hours before you enter. Have the confirmation ready on your phone or printed, because the entrance is controlled.

The controlled entrances are Laguna Amarga, Sarmiento and Serrano. At Laguna Amarga the ticket is checked and visitors get a briefing. The online pass is not a reservation for a shuttle, a catamaran or a bed in a refugio. Service fees, card charges and foreign currency surcharges can apply at checkout.

What the entrance ticket does not include

Most costs in the park are separate.

Day tours

On a full-day road tour from Puerto Natales, the park entrance and the Cueva del Milodón entrance are usually extra. Check what your tour includes, and see Puerto Natales for the start of the day.

Boats

The Grey Glacier boat and the kayak trip do not include the park ticket. The Lago Pehoé catamaran is also separate. Fares are on the Grey Glacier and Lago Pehoé pages.

The transfer at Laguna Amarga

A shuttle runs from Laguna Amarga to the Welcome Center, about 7 km and 25 minutes, for CLP 4,500 per single ride in the 2026/27 season. The fare is a transport price and not a trail fee.

Base Las Torres

Extra access regulation for the Base Las Torres hike is not being introduced in 2026. The hike has its own rules on start and exit times, described on the Base Las Torres page.

Nights in the mountains

Nights on the W and O must be reserved before you enter. The ticket does not replace them. Read refugios and camping before you buy the ticket.

Opening hours and when to buy

Hours change with the season, and trails have their own cut-offs.

The park runs a summer season from October to April with hours of 07:00 to 21:00 daily, and a winter season from May to September with hours of 08:00 to 18:30 daily. Weather and safety changes are possible, and an open gate does not mean every trail is open. Check the day before. For the right months, see best time to visit.
